The Local Organization Committee is preparing 3 alternatives for technical visits, to be held on 11th April. The technical visits will allow the participants to take contact with the dynamics of the coastal region of central Portugal, which is characterized by sandy beaches with extensive erosion problems and important coastal protection structures. The 3 tours will be performed at the same time and thus, the participants needs to make an option on which to attend. The technical visits require registration and the payment of 50 euros fee.
The technical visits are subject to the weather conditions on the planned day.
For logistical reasons, the number of participants in each technical visit may be limited. In that case, the selection of participants will be based on the order of registration.
Technical visit 1: Aveiro region coastal stretch, from Esmoriz to Furadouro
Technical visit 2: Figueira da Foz coastal region
Technical visit 3: Aveiro lagoon and São Jacinto dunes reserve
